MOON Opening Weekend Fundraiser Event
Starting off the weekend-long event on Friday Feb. 7 will be a headline performance by Boston emo band Mallcops, who just recently released their album “Vacationland”, which you can find on any music streaming platform. Additional performances that night include Boston pop-punk band 5ever and Pintail.
Saturday Feb. 8 will feature two separate shows. Kicking off that day will be the matinee show headlined by bluegrass/folk band Clay Pigeons, who are currently working on their next album and have upcoming shows on Jan. 29 in Providence, R.I. and Jan. 31 in Watertown, Mass., which you can find more information for on their Instagram account. That afternoon’s show will also feature performances by indie/folk band Lucia and the Juice Boxes, folk/punk trio Tiny the Bear, and a solo-acoustic performance by power-emo band Cape Crush (one of MOON’s founders!).
Later that evening on Feb. 8 will be a second show headlined by emo violence band New Forms, who recently released their debut album “As Dust Collects”, which can be found on any music streaming platform. That evening will feature additional performances by I Have No Mouth, emo/hardcore band Silent Spring, and hardcore band The Promised End.
Closing out the weekend’s musical festivities is a matinee show on Sunday Feb. 9. The show will be headlined by Lynn- based rock band Pregame Rituals, who just recently released their debut album “Nothings Gonna Hurt You”, which can be found on any music streaming platform. Additional performances that night include The Modern Faces, emo band Canadian Sailor, and Weatherman.
